Section titled “Session notes”There’s a council before the hunt where we have to make a plan. We’re going prepared into battle. We won’t have the dogs. The classic way is to get some fooldhardy creature with courage to get the boars locked into blood and follow them. The boars are about as big as a horse. We need a lure with a squealing creature that bleeds warm. The boar will pursue this creature while we set up a trap and an ambush.
Punx is going to be the runner while Pachinko will be the squealing pig with bleeding.
We’re setting up the trap location. How many people we have in the hunter party? 12 of the best archers, including Ronghi and Miros from Bloombark. The boars are coming and we’re prepared.
Pachinko has managed to increase the flow of blood thanks to Punx wind’s magic that blew into him and created an increased pressure.
A few boars show up and fall into holes where we can start shooting them.
Oona has the genius idea to cut her hand to bleed and change the source of attraction.
Pachinko is currently dying and Punx heroically comes down to save him. However, he finds himself mauled by boars. But then Pachinko comes to his aid and heroically explodes to heal him.
We are at a crossroads. Oona is on the verge of dying and Punx is the only one how can save her but to do so he must sacrifice himself. He cuts his palm open to lure the boars with his blood. This is not enough though. Oona is ready to die unfortunately.
Ryuto heroically jumps down the cliff taking significant damage but breathing life back to Oona before she dies. Oona uses her first breath of life to help Vaiana from Bimbo, who heroically had tried to jump down the cliff to rescue Oona but failed to safely climb and was at death’s door.
We finally did it, even though we were all hurt, no one died and everyone was stable at the end of the battle. We killed 10/10 boars, so this is a new record. There will be a great celebration and we’re heroes (we get an extra point next session) in all of these three villages.
When we get to the Village, our ship is going to come back from Moa’Tor to deliver the replacement for the embassy staff. He also brings word that there’s been a letter addressed to Punx. His brother Phil is lost at sea, succumbing in a battle against pirates. They bring back his feather cap.
