Section titled “Session notes”Ronghi and Miros are in their own crates, along with Ryuto, Oona and Pachinko in their own crates. Then the ensemble: The strong ones, the ones with the most resolve and the scrawny deceptive ones. Inside the crates we don’t have good perception of what’s going on but we hear messages from the people outside. Not long after there’s an ambush and there’s fighting noises outside.
Oona can discern that the ensemble are each doing their part. The strong ones are holding, the performative are losing on purpose as planned and retreating safely. The ones with resolve are putting their all into it, they might die. They have very veritable died and the strong ones retreat after getting some kills.
The boxes are starting to be opened and there are croaks of triumph. There are some boggarts departing. Pachinko can tell that they left in a hurry but left some other people behind, maybe 5 out of the original 20. Later a much larger company approach, 20/30 as boxes are lifted and we’re marching for many miles. There’s an echoey quality to our surroundings like we’re in a cave. There’s a celebration with drums and people dancing. We’ve been set down somewhere deeper down in the enclosure. The celebration is muffled. Pachinko thinks the room is empty and starts to open the box and come out. We’re in a dim damp mudhut. It’s not illuminated but we’re able to see that there’s a guard looking out and he has not yet spotted us.
Oona makes eye contact with Miros and tries to send him to kidnap the guard. Miros is approaching but our presence is given away by Pachinko who was not stealthy enough. A battle starts where the guard might alert others but we kill them so quickly that they don’t react. There are some valuables worth 1 silver on the body. We hide all traces of the battle and the tool coverage, it takes us some time and then we emerge out from the mudhut. The mudhut is big but they all live in huts. There’s a fire and a central ceremony, there are flogs with drums and stomping their feet. Next to the bonfire a much more frog with headdress leads the ceremony.
There’s three more fancy huts in our central are that are guarded and might contain Oro. We find some shovels to do something perhaps. We’re trying to get rid of two guards in one of the doors. We manage to stop two of the guards before they alert anyone. We drag the bodies inside the hut where there are childrens chained. Oro is there and Oro is reunited with Ronghi. We open the locks of the kids’ manacles. The kids don’t know much about the village.
We set up the dead guards as if they are still guarding and now try to sneak around from the fire. We send Miros to create a distraction and come back to us if he can. The distraction happens immediately and he leads them away from us. We start running to find our way out. Unfortunately, we’re all discovered so we have to run.
