Day 1 — The death of Molty

Section titled “Session notes”We’re introduced to the Hakunawa, Makola, the harbormaster/mayor of our town who is visiting Ryuto. We’re in the island kingdom of Moa Tour. There has been a guy who went on an expedition, Molty, and came back and is now dead. Makola is asking for help in figuring out what happened. Molty was an official of the empire. Makola does not speculate on the circumstances regarding Molty’s death.
There will be proper compensation from the king Hetty Moka Hoha. The mayor will meet us at the residence where the death happened. Ryuto has managed to gather all the people.
We’ve been intercepted by a Palanquin on our way to the house. A bodyguard Kanaka is outside and barrs our way. From inside the Palanquin, a Gentlecat steps out. He must be from Albian, where they have all the strange races. They love tea. He’s Benedict Butterwell, he is pleased to meet Ryuto. He is trying to offer us a side deal, he is seeking information about this affair. He is the consul of the islands and needs information about this. He needs info about the celestrals. He is willing to help with supplies for Ryuto.
Hakunawa Makola and an elf is there. We’re introduced to Kaya, she worked as the housemaid of the late Molty. She is also an agent from the mayor’s office. The dead guy was an official emissary from the empire. There is a paint spill on the floor. The painting is neon blue. It seems to be a paint trap. He might have been a little paranoid. The trap was sprung on Kaya when she was checking on the guy when he didn’t answer the door in the morning. Kaya saw him last when she served him dinner. He had just returned from his trip.He was gone for some weeks.
It’s a dead dragon in robes, there is a dagger in its chest. It’s a green dragon, lime green.

The stool is expensive furniture. We restrained instead of destroying it.
Inside the lockbox, we find the secret stash of Mo ti. There’s a large stash of journals with detailed information. There’s an imperial decree to survey the islands and see if there are resources for the empire in these barbarian lands. Document that is tied to a security deposit in a bank which is one of the colonies on the east side of the island.
