Section titled “Session notes”Ronghi is leading us through the river to our big ship and Pachinko and Oona are paying attention and carefully learn all the paths. The plan is to get to the ship which will take 2 more hours and then tow it back to the village. The ship should be able make it back to the village through the canals but not be able to make it back as it has not enough space to turn like the Evergiven. We reach the Estuary and see the ship in the distance, 500m offshore. Pachinko is currently the figurehead of the canoe. The ship raises a white flag when they see us as we are friendlies. We board the ship and talk to captain Jackdoe. He is surprised we’re back and happy that we succeeded on the mission. He thinks we’ve brought Ronghi as a captive native woman.
Ryuto is talking to the captain Jackdoe. He is informing them of our progress on the islands. Ronghi has been wide eyed since she boarded the ship. We’re making preparations to bring the tools and perhaps the ship downriver close to the village. The crew has been gathering and hunting around the shores. So far there have been no incidents. The captain seems to be a disgraced captain because he should be piloting more prestigious ships. We’re trying to push the captain to take on this daring mission, playing to his redemption desires. Jackdoe is a nickname because they say he is cursed due to losing cargo in a maelstrom. The captain is ready to show them that he is capable.
Ronghi explains navigation but now we need to think how to get it up the river. We plan to tow the ship with all our canoe and available rafts.
We’re trying to optimize our upstream river trip. Pachinko fails to improve on the paddle. We manage to get the boat across the river. The people of the village are stunned.
Inventory: We have one unit of tools, enough boxes as to be one trade good. A storage container worth of tools.
We have a new plan that Pachinko proposes where they use false bottoms in the tool boxes to sneak the adventurers and a couple of cunning warriors into the village and execute the extraction mission.

We’re casting the people for this mission, Ryuto is trying to find actors that can pretend that his bad tea is good. We get 5 scrawny deceptionest, 5 strong and 5 with the highest resolve. For the stealthiest companion, we choose the guard that we met the first night in the village, Miros, he does not have the highest resolve but is a capable soul.
Pachinko winks at the kid hinting that he should be a stowaway to this plan.
